Some results of our start-up trip to Ghana

The aim and purpose was to see what conditions our cooperative concept would fit in Ghana.
There are of course other private operators in modern waste management in Ghana but to build a cooperative with consultants and suppliers from Europe and Africa and offer qualified feasibility studies and projects to countries, cities, municipalities in West Africa with a clear concept and system support, we believe we can contribute to faster and more efficient waste management.

One of the meetings was with His Highness Nana Amoapim Barekese Hene Kung in the Ashanti region where Ghana's second largest city, Kumasi, is located.
We flew early to Kumasi from Accra and were picked up at the airport, served breakfast on the way to The Barekese Community. There he had an audience with the king, or the Chief as he likes to be called. It was a formal reception according to protocol. The meeting went well and later in the day transitioned to an on-site demonstration of their large pond, horticulture and water treatment plant which was in excellent condition. There are great development opportunities in The Barekese Community.

Start-up meetings to discuss collaborations and our way of working. We received a quick positive response which quickly led to other important meetings.

Important meetings we had this week

On Friday morning we got to meet The Diaspora African Forum.
The H.E AMB. Dr. Erieka Bennett with colleagues, one of the world's largest Diaspora networks with its own ambassador status. The meeting went well and it was interesting to hear about their organization and what we can do together. We will have another meeting this week where we will review our business model and identify joint projects.
